Q: For your European-style range hoods, what if my ceiling is taller than the height of the chimney extensions? A: For most homes 16-32 is usually a good height, however, sometimes people have homes with taller ceilings. LiveTec understands that this may be the case and works with metal fabricators who can create a custom one piece chimney cover for whatever model and height you have! Customers can buy the custom piece or another alternative is to purchase an additional chimney extension piece. Q: What is your Clever Patented Auto Cleaning System? A: In our under mount range hoods, besides having an extremely powerful CFM, the hoods have a patented technology. This advanced technological system has nozzles that can inject hot water and cleaner to the inner fan blades and inner bellows where most grease accumulates. Through the centrifugal force created by the high-speed rotation of the fan blades, all of the grease is cleaned and flown to the oil cup, genuinely cleaning the range hood and allowing a longer lifetime of use. Q: Can LiveTec European-style range hoods be ductless? A: Yes, customers can purchase charcoal filters to recirculate the air. Charcoal filters will typically last between 3-6 months depending on usage. The charcoal filters attach easily to the intake duct and are extremely easy to install. Q: What do I do if a shipping carrier damages my product? A: Occasionally, a shipping company will damage your product during shipment. (This is more typical for range hood with tempered glass.) We apologize for the inconvenience and will guide you through the process quickly and painlessly as possible. With every hood shipped to customers, there are damage/ return instructions on the box. Simply call the shipping company to report a claim on the damaged good. All products shipped to our customers are insured for your protection. After the claim process is started, please call LiveTec and we will ship you a new product at no expense to you. |
